Beside product design, I am also proficient in communication and brand design due to the fact that my early career started in advertising, and my university degree had a marketing concentration, poisioning me to understand business value in things and the importance of advertising. To me, every pixel is a decision, and every composition tells a story. From winning multiple Young Lotus awards early in my career to directing multi-million-dollar experiences for Telcos, NRF, CES, and Mobile World Congress.

When I wear the creative director hat, I think of the best way to communicate with the customer. I work to understand the persona, define the communication strategy, determine the style, art direction, and craft, and implement a pre-campaign success matrix to reevaluate afterwards. I treat brand design as part of the overall design umbrella and as part of the design strategy for any product or service.
When it comes to telling a complex technology story, I simplify it through metaphor, 3- to 7-act storytelling, humanizing the story through relatable personas and traits, and using a friendly, clear language and tone.
